According to a criminal complaint, officers responded to a home near 6th and Garfield last Tuesday for a firearm complaint. When they arrived, officers said they spotted Dodd, who matched a description provided by the caller, and arrested him. From the tag, officers said they learned the ring was stolen last Monday from the Zales Jewelry Store at Mayfair Mall. According to Wauwatosa police, who responded to the initial call, Dodd told the store clerk he wanted to look at diamond rings for his fiance.
